When you instruct Blackpool Surveyors to carry out a survey, the following terms apply:

• Scope of service: Our surveys are conducted in accordance with RICS standards and the specific scope of the survey type commissioned. The survey report will clearly state its scope and limitations.
• Payment: Survey fees are payable in advance of the inspection date. We accept payment by bank transfer or credit/debit card.
• Cancellation: You may cancel the instruction within 14 days of booking without penalty (cooling-off period). Cancellations after the surveyor has visited the property may incur a fee.
• Access: You are responsible for arranging access to the property for the inspection. We cannot be held responsible for incomplete surveys due to restricted access.
• Report use: Survey reports are prepared for the use of the client only and may not be relied upon by third parties.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the fee paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services or the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

As RICS regulated surveyors, we maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by RICS rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and design — is owned by Blackpool Surveyors or its licensors. You may print or download content for personal use but may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or republish it without our written permission.
